Q: How much do J&R Xpress’s services cost?

A: Cost is determined by both weight and distance, as well as the type of service you would like to hire so each order is unique to you! Our office staff is able to quickly quote you a price for your freight; you can contact us via our online form or by calling us directly 801-771-0619.

You can also request a quote for larger box truck, flatbed, or out-of-state services.

Q: Where does J&R Xpress deliver?

A: Our standard/same-day service delivers up and down the Wasatch Front and the I-15 corridor from north of Logan down to Payson.

Outside of our standard/same-day service areas we provide our priority services anywhere you need your freight delivered! Nowhere is too far away; please give us a call or request a quote and we’ll take care of your needs.

Q: When will my freight be delivered?

A: Delivery pick-ups in the Salt Lake City have cut-off times of 9:00 am, 11:00 am, and 1:00 pm each weekday. Your freight will normally be delivered within a 4-hour window of the cut-off time your freight was picked up!

Delivery pick-ups in the Utah county and Davis county areas have a cut-off time of 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. Your freight will normally be delivered within a 5-hour window of the cut-off time your freight was picked up!

For hot-shot/priority deliveries will make every effort to deliver your item as quickly and safely as possible. We dispatch a driver to pick up your freight as soon as we receive your order and bring it straight to your place of business with no other stops in between!

J&R Xpress Couriers is open for business 24 hours a day and can schedule priority services for you anytime day or night, including weekends!

Q: Does J&R Xpress deliver to and/or from Logan?

A: Yes! Logan is included in our standard service runs each weekday. We operate two runs into the greater Logan area.

Orders heading INTO Logan from the Salt Lake City area should be placed before 9:00 am for same-day morning delivery and 1:00 pm for same-day afternoon delivery.

Orders heading INTO Logan from the Utah county area should be placed before 10:00 am for same-day afternoon delivery.

Orders heading OUT of Logan should be placed the day before intended delivery.

Q: What type of trucks does J&R Xpress have?

A: Cargo vans: The vans can handle up to 3000 lbs including 4x4x4 size pallets. These are best for standard/same-day delivery runs and hot-shot/priority deliveries.

12’ to 16’ box trucks: These can handle up to 5000 lbs and are most commonly used for our standard/same-day services.

22’ to 26’ foot box trucks: These larger trucks can handle up to 10,000 lbs and up to 12 4x4 pallets. These are typically used for heavy cargo and/or multiple pallet orders.

24’ flatbed trucks: Our flatbed trucks can handle up to 15,000 lbs and are best for long, heavy, or otherwise cumbersome freight.
